Hi, I am Jodi

Travel addict, serial over-planner, and your personal researcher so you don’t have to spiral down 2 a.m. rabbit holes questioning if that cute little boutique hotel is actually above a nightclub.

Let’s just get this out of the way: I’m that person in the group chat. The one who’s already made a Google Doc, spreadsheet, and color-coded map before you’ve even found your passport. But hey, someone’s gotta do it — and lucky for you, I genuinely love it.

I’ve spent years traveling the world, curating trips for friends, family, and clients who all know one thing: I will find the best places to eat, sleep, wander, and sip coffee (decaf these days, but the love is still real). And yes, I’ll remind you to pack an extra portable charger and an emergency snack. Because we do not mess around with low battery or hanger.

Why I Travel (And Why I Love Planning It)

For me, the adventure starts way before I even pack a bag. Give me a destination, a double shot decaf, and a flight deal to literally anywhere — and suddenly I’m spiraling down a beautiful black hole of travel blogs, restaurant menus, train timetables, and “best street food in ___” videos. Planning is my version of pre-game adrenaline. It’s the thrill of figuring out how to make the absolute most of a trip — without losing your mind (or your luggage).

I travel because I love getting out of my bubble. I want to try the food, hear the language, get hopelessly lost, and somehow end up at the best little bakery I never would’ve found if I’d stayed on the main road. I live for the little moments — the ones that don’t make it into guidebooks but stick with you long after you’re home.

And here’s the kicker: I also love making that magic happen for other people. I get an almost suspicious level of joy out of crafting itineraries, decoding fine print, and figuring out how to turn a chaotic trip into a seamless, soul-filling escape. Basically, I plan like I’m going on the trip — and sometimes I wish I was. (But I’ll settle for your photos and a glowing review.)

The (Slightly Irrational) Fear I Always Travel With

I don’t have a dramatic travel horror story to scare you with (unless you count that time I hiked a volcano that started erupting hours after I came down — but hey, timing is everything). What I do have is a well-documented, slightly over-the-top habit of hoarding snacks like I’m prepping for a culinary apocalypse.

Airports? Stocked. Road trips? Packed like I’m running a snack stand out of my glove compartment. Camping? Let’s just say I bring enough food to survive a minor natural disaster. I have a deeply rooted fear — call it irrational, I call it preparedness — of running out of food anytime I’m away from a refrigerator or delivery app.

So yes, I’m the one with three types of pretzels, a bag of jerky, travel-sized fruit, and Sour Patch Kids I swear are for emergencies (but usually aren’t). If food needs to be planned in advance, I am already two steps ahead and probably sneaking snacks into your bag too.

I’ve made peace with it. And honestly? You probably should too. Especially if we’re ever traveling together — because at least you won’t go hungry.

What You’ll Find Here

Think of this site as your one-stop shop for travel that’s well-planned, a little spontaneous, and never boring. Around here, you’ll find:

🗺️ Destination guides that go beyond the basics — with real talk, hidden gems, and “Okay, I have to go there” energy.

✈️ Smart planning tips and travel hacks to help you avoid rookie mistakes (and maybe even feel smug at the airport).

🛏️ No-fluff reviews of hotels, products, and travel services — if I love it, you’ll hear about it. If I don’t, you’ll definitely hear about it.

📖 Stories from the road that are part useful, part ridiculous, and all real. (Because not every trip goes according to plan — and that’s half the fun.)

Whether you’re planning your next big trip or just here for a virtual escape, I’m glad you’re along for the ride.
